I like this one, but except the fact that there is a zoo in Berlin, despite it being on the other side of the city, and the fact it does have giraffes, I am a little baffled by this design.

REVERSE SIDE OF ABOVE POSTCARD POSTER SELECTION

The above selection of poster like art designs were all bought at the DDR Museum in Berlin

I thought these were nice cards, so I bought all the cards with the TV shown. They all also had this same reverse layout with no individual reference numbers

I like the use of spot colour – yellow – in this design. It also has a few of the Berlin sights, the world clock, the yellow tram and, of course, the TV Tower. I consider this to be a companion card to the one above

This design fits into two of my TV themed collections, the Fernsehturm TV Tower in Berlin and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, so it just had to be placed into my collection. It is an interesting design.

I think I prefer many of the art designs over the photographic pieces. This one is a good example of why.

A nice historic postcard image. Needless-to-say, the subject of the Berlin Wall is still very much of interest in Berlin and you can find many postcards which depict aspects and views of the wall. Some of them also show the TV Tower which being so high often appears on photographs taken from the western sector over the wall.

Another cracking design which overlays the same image of the tower several times to make an interesting art like image.

This is another postcard which depicts the Berliner Dom, but which therefore also depicts the TV Tower which is behind it. This one has a large Ferris wheel in the bottom right corner, but I don’t remember seeing this so it may not be here now.

This is clearly a postcard which has its main direction aimed at the Berliner Dom, but the TV Tower makes a cameo appearance behind the Berliner Dom on the right side. The Berliner Dom is another of my favourite structures which I can highly recommend a visit to. If you feel fit enough you can climb the steps up to the dome and walk around the outside edge of it. The views are amazing from up there (but the climb is exhausting)
