My first posting on the webpage this year. I have had a break from posting cards from my own collection because I have been working on, and launching, a new facebook page on the collecting of Covid-19 related items, not just related postcards. That is now up and running and being populated with images, so, I thought it was time to return to posting some postcard images. A Bamforth comic card seems to be an appropriate point to return to the fold.

Home Made Postcard

Every year David and Pat send me a home-made postcard, made by David, and these always have an interesting element beyond the fact that they are home made. This one has the 2023 2nd class Christmas stamp applied to the reverse side which has been cancelled first day of issue with a special Bethlehem Welsh hand stamp. These special postcards always arrive in a special home mad envelope which I depict below. I love these and they are always an announcement of the upcoming holiday season when I receive them.
